All yarns are hand-dyed with the highest quality dyes. I rinse all yarns after dyeing, but whether indie or commercial dyed, some light bleeding may occur initially--especially with pinks, reds and turquoise. I therefore recommend washing SEPARATELY in COLD WATER the first few times. Don't worry, this bleeding will have no effect on the intensity of the colors.
As this is a NON-SUPERWASH wool, please take great care in washing your knits. Gently soak or hand wash, remove excess water by carefullysqueezing it in a towel and then lay flat to dry. Do not machine wash or agitate in any way as felting may occur.
Each hank is unique so, when using more then one, it's best to alternate hanks every few rows.
